Idaho’s Largest Lake
Lake Pend Orielle is Idaho’s largest lake. Surrounded by lush trees and snow-topped mountains, a day on the water, or its shore, makes for an idyllic time. Lake Pend Oreille gives views to towns such as Sandpoint, Hope and Lake View. It can be seen from the Pend Oreille Scenic Byway and State Highway 200.

North Star Charters Captain Tyler Long currently lives in Clark Fork, Idaho, but grew up just 10 miles northwest in the lakeside town of Hope. He spent most of his youth on Lake Pend Oreille, fishing any chance that he could get. He is proud to be a lifetime local who knows the lake like the back of his hand.
